Agglethorpe clay days

After 3 very successful years of hosting our clay days, we are pleased to announce our 2025 dates of Thursday the 12th to Saturday the 14th of June.

Once again, the event will take place at Agglethorpe Estate which lies in the heart of Coverdale, 3 miles west of Middleham with neighbours of Bolton Estate & Tupgill Park; the home of The Forbidden Corner, The Saddle Room Restaurant & White Goose Pizza Co.

This unique opportunity is to join a simulated driven shoot on the estate during our annual week. These relaxed days are designed for you to come, entertain your friends, have a day off and enjoy yourself. There are no final scores or big presentations to worry about embarrassing yourselves either! Our starting marshals will try to let you know discreetly how many “got away” (if you want to know).

BOOKING INFORMATION

Teams of 4 shoot across 6 drives in our beautiful valley bottom woodland. If you wish to come as a syndicate group of 8, we can work it so that 4 of you shoot with the other 4 loading, and then swap around.

The 2025 Price per team of 4 people is £1100 + VAT (this is including breakfast, cartridges, shooting and 2 course lunch afterward). Non shooting guests / drivers are £45 per head.

(An invoice for £1320 (including VAT) will be issued and emailed upon receipt of the booking form, once paid your place is confirmed).

Our event

Supporting local charities

Over the past three years we have raised over £11,500.00 for several local charities including Yorkshire Air Ambulance, The Candlelighters, Herriot Hospice and Coverham Church.

Corporate days

Three days are available for teams of 4 or 8 (or more) Thursday 12th, Friday 13th and Saturday 14th June 2025.

Refreshments

A meet & greet style welcome with a breakfast sandwich & cuppa followed by refreshments throughout including our infamous “thirst aid”. Finish back at the award-winning Saddle Room restaurant with a 2 course lunch located in the heart of Tupgill Estate.

6 drives & pool shoot

Teams of four will shoot 100 bird “flushes” over 6 fantastic drives along the riverside. We will also have pool shoots for charity, to compete against each other for prize money running alongside the flushes.

Cartridges included

Cartridges (12 bore) are provided and will be ready at the stands to avoid the need to carry them all with you! (Other sizes like 20 gauge can be ordered with a supplement).
